"I try to be a green member of society in part by eschewing my car and riding a bike to and from work 3-5 days a week. I figure the 20-mile round trip commute has saved almost 600 gallons of gas over the past four years. Not only have I not contributed as much to the smog in and around Atlanta, but I'm healthier and have a little extra jingle in my pocket from not having to buy as much gas. With the latest gas shortages around the metro Atlanta area, it's nice not to have to fill up but once every 3-4 weeks."
